Discuss 3 way gang switch Led bulb still lights when switched off. in the DIY Electrical Advice area at ElectriciansForums.net

What are you trying to say, @GeorgeCooke ?
I think a mod has some duplicate posts to delete.

I’ve got an LED fitting to look at after Xmas in a neighbours house, and this thread has the same problem:
It’s on the stair landing so is controlled through a 2 way circuit. 2 switches. The problem is that the light stays on dim when it should be off, but only when the switches are in a certain configuration. Ie
Switch 1 off, switch 2 off..... light off
Switch 1 off, switch 2 on..... light on
Switch 1 on, switch 2 off..... light on
Switch 1 on, switch 2 on..... light dimly on(should be off)

So likely an induced feed onto one of the strappers in the 3 core+ earth cable. (Newish build, I know it’s wired in flat grey)

I might get one of those snubbers and see if it works.
