Apprenticeship or Work Experience?

Hey guys, basically i'll explain my situation.
I'm studying to be a electrician privately so i'm looking for paid work experience, although that could come under as apprenticeship surely? but anyway, i'm qualified domestically in December but need/would like some experience onsite before i am qualified although i don't really want to work for free but i will if it comes to it.

So do you guys think i should work for free as work experience, ask for an apprenticeship or paid work experience?

I'm not sure I understand what you are saying:

I'm guessing here: What do you mean by qualified?.... you've done a 5 day domestic installer's course but don't fell confident enough to get out there and rip up a few floor boards?

in a way yes, not only that though, most employers don't really employ inexperienced electrical installers.

From what is said on here employers and employees alike don't like 'your kind' who took the quick and expensive way into the job. I think you'll find it harder then most to get work because you're held back because of this, you certainly better off looking elsewhere then here for work

id def say apprentiship learning on the job and at college is a good balance,and i think thers a sort of disapline you can learn being an apprentice.
