Hi im currently after a new cordless sds drill. At the moment i have a 36 volt three mode dewalt which has been a great drill but sadley after over three years of very hard use and abuse its now comming to the end of its life.
I wanted to know if you would recomend any decent makes? as theres alot to choose from.

many thanks

Milwaukee every time for me

FOUND IT....................

Due to a new job, my Bosch SDS is redundant, and rather than let it sit gathering dust, I am willing to let it go to a new home. It has two 2.6 aH batteries, two chucks (SDS and twist-lock), case, charger, cloth, instruction book, full chisel set and safety glasses. It has had a very easy life.

This drill is a beast, and will easily chase, and drill 25mm holes in masonry all day.

I paid £500 + Vat for it, but they can be picked up a bit cheaper now, depending on which online retailer you can find them at.

I want £250 for it, and if you can pick it up, all the better, otherwise you can organise a courier.

Thanks.

BARGAIN!! Take this chaps arm off!
THIS SOUNDS LIKE THE WAY TO GO!!!!!!

I have the makita BHR242 18V brushless SDS, i've used it for a full day sinking boxes into block with a scutch attachment and the battery never died. it seems to have almost as much power as my mains SDS, and is a vast improvement over the old makita SDS drills (BHR 202, 240, 241 etc) which were pretty poor to say the least
