Discuss Can I take a switchwire back to the board ? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

it was a switchwire on a lighting circuit from a photocell taken back to the board and the connections made off in the dis board and didn’t know if it was against regs or just bad practice ?

I think anyone telling you it was against the regs would need to tell you which one it would be against. Don't think I can think of one.

That sounds fine to me, I would happily do something similar.
