Eic main fuse question

doing a EIC for new installation on a flat fed by a 16mm t/e.

Main fuse (100A) feeds fuse switch (63A) to cu in flat.

My question is; Ze taken from main fuse, Zdb taken from cu. but when filling in main switch, tails and earthing conductor, do I record what runs from main fuse to fuse switch or from fused switch to cu?

the ze taken from the sub mains in the flat .not the main fuse in the fuse switch .

Ze is taken at the origin... When filling in the section on the EIC you put the 100A fuse down. The distribution circuit is a circuit so you treat it as such.

No...Ze will be taken as close as possible to the origin which may well be at the incoming terminals of the switch fuse.

think OP is asking what to record for the size of supply tails. before or after the SW/F, if they are different.

In that case record the CSA of the tails that come from the meter to the switch fuse. Anything after the switch fuse is a distribution circuit.

Ze at incoming terminals of switched fuse Zdb at consumer unit .Is there no 10mm earth run with 16mm T & E ?.

No 10mm with t/e just the 6mm cpc. Adiabatic Calcs seem OK for this and zs from sub board fine.

Spoken to 3 different sparks who all have a different approach. Considering this is a common situation, I'm surprised it's not more cut and dry.

No gas and water all plastic then ? As for Ze it says it clearly under supply characteristics Nature of supply parameters Ze ---- Ze that part of the earth loop impedance which is external to the installation.
