h guys in the past week I have seen a light bulb (pardon) just explode in a domestic fitting, also a row of 5 lamps in a fitting (new) the middle one exploded, both leaving the Edison screw cap in the fitting ??????????????

Probably cheap lamps as stated. Maybe condensation or water on the hot glass could cause it or maybe even grease from fingers. Overvoltage or transient/surge or local arcing fault possibly but if nothing else was damaged it's unlikely.

3 different houses 3 different lamps one was ikea one was a Crompton lamp and other was osram not measured voltage as only one fitting per house was affected and others were on at same time bit weird ,lamps exploded across room and left metal screw in place

Ive seen corroded es lamp holders arc and short before causing repeated cases of bulb glasses separating from the lamp holder with a bang.

Random cases are generally cheap lamps though. I've almost come to conclusion there are no quality brands anymore.
