I use the NICEIC software and it is very poor I've been using electrical software for about 15 years and the only plus is that the NICEIC software uses is plain paper, Amtech is far superior you should be able to buy NICEIC CERT and use them as plain paper feed on any system not just theirs

I still hand write my certs and no issues from my AE, he is also happy with the forms from BS7671, so there seems to be some discontinuity here.
