Expand please ...all I see is 4 numbers, please enlighten me... I was talking about tools that fit in your toolbox as a general item.most expensive tool i ever bought was 1553 2nd hand. £280 calibrated. (apart from the van, which, after all, is a tool (or mobile toolbox)).

I said excluding test gear, basically tool box gear. My MFT cost approx 1k but not part of my toolbox, looking at these crimps you'll be surprised they cost more than £30 quid but having used them they make a highly reliable crimp for the temps they are subjected to.Megga testers.....I think?
I got my Cembre hydraulic crimpers 2nd hand... nowhere near £800... it's the dies that cost the money though... I only have a few, for the work that I do.Set of Cembre hydraulic crimpers £800 , wouldn't even dare add up my hand tools but I must be in for around £3k...
