I can’t read it as blurry but what is different than before when it comes to overload?
Isn’t that what you do now though, taking diversity into account?Re loaded pic.
My reading of it suggests the main switch needs to be adequately rated to supply circuits of the DB,the total of these circuits should not be more than the rated main switch.
Yea & me...how is it gonna work, say a 3 phase DB @ 125 amp main switch,4 x 32 amps 128 amps..still got lights cooker, shower, radials & more ring mains...oh dear.My quick read is that most split units supplied by manufacturers today would not comply ... I've been installing dangerous equipment again (sarcasm alert).

125 amp main switch specificed on 100 amp supply.
I did wonder why they'd not stated the reg so we could look it up ...There's no significant change, this article is merely someone at Hager trying to justify their salary.
Good point, ain’t got new reg book yet, anything in that relating to what Hager is saying?I did wonder why they'd not stated the reg so we could look it up ...
My take is yes, that's fine. They don't like the RCD with say 80A rating sitting between the suppliers 100A fuse and a row of MCB that add up to more than 80A. They are saying (don't know if true) that we are no longer allowed to use diversity as per OSG.Just fit populated rcbo boards, would that work?
