Don't know how you get away with it , when I have gone to an Agency (which I don't like , but kneads must), I found they want everything , for 13 poxy quid an hour,,

Getting a job with them as a baker then?

i know what you saying mate, i knew someone on a job who didnt have a jib card but was on full rate , at the time of the job i didnt have a gold card , they (agency scum) would not pay me the full rate only mates rate until i could produce a gold card

Get made to jump through hoops to get gold card. Even harder to get if your self employed as I understand it.

I work for a JIB company with approx 30 site employees, maybe half of them too 2thirds are sparks, and no one seems to be getting a fair rate. certainly not JIB rates. Travel pay.... What is that? Time and a half, a thing of the past! Give up your precious saturday and all you get is a threat against your job if you feel hard done by! But I suppose Work is work and the bills are being paid, even if it is only just.
