Hi was at a wee job today, a kitchen circuit fault which was easily sorted.
However the kitchen greenwood airvac extraction fan packed in whilst I was there. Think its been there for about 20 years ..
Customer has asked if I could recommended any suitable replacements.
Its high up above units, so cant be a pull cord and isolator switch is at worktop level. I would need one with a shutter as the side wall is exposed and the wind hits it (yes it is windy in Scotland at times )
I was going to suggest this Xpelair DX150T 18.4W Kitchen Extractor Fan with Timer - https://www.NoLinkingToThis/p/xpelair-dx150t-18-4w-kitchen-extractor-fan-with-timer/3554h?_requestid=448695
has anyone had any good bad experience with this fan or can suggest another reliable /suitable fan

thanks

I would try the brand you have with the added requirement you need .
In my opinion Greenwood are about as good as you will get.

Edit to add link.
Greenwood Epicair.co.uk - http://www.epicair.co.uk/index.php/brands/greenwood.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI3pSIioLS1wIVQpUbCh0zBQuEEAAYASAAEgI9ivD_BwE

Give them a ring , they should have what you need

thanks for your help, I referred the customer and they have chosen one that suits them. I couldn't find anywhere that sold similar greenwood fans when searching the other night ..
