Hi, quick question.
My Dad`s looking to go ahead with a PV system, does he qualify for the current higher FiT rate if his installation is completed before 1st of April or does it go by when his elec supplier receives his FiT application form?
From what I can gather the FiT isn`t dropping too much anyway is it?

And also, will the FiT rate be increasing for the rest of us who already have PV systems installed?

Thanks all

Partially, it's a 3.5% drop, from 14.90p/kWh to 14.38p/kWh

Everyone gets the export tariff uplift (now 4,77p), only those before 1st Jan 2014 get the RPI uplift in April 2014

I haven`t had a payment yet but I didn`t think they did!?
I was only expecting one cheque....whenever it does finally arrive.
I know we get paid for each unit generated and then again for 50% of those units as export (at a lower rate! 4.64p I think at the moment)

You should get a statement about how much they are paying and how it is made up (units, rate, readings, dates of readings, etc) - The same as you'd get for an electricity bill.

That usually (for us ) follows about a week after I've received the payment
