Discuss New Genuine Star Makita 4Ah Batteries 60 quid Free fast Delivery in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

Seems you can also purchase two 3.0 Ah for the same price.

Think i'd go for the 2 X deal myself!!

Where did you see those mate ?? I just had a look on there but couldn't find them ,I will be gutted if I have missed out on getting Two 3ampers for the same money grr

@ Boydy yea that's why I posted it here as for only 60 Quid you are getting a Brand new Genuine Star 4Ah instead of a 3Ah version for more or less the same price on Ebay.

As for the Copies mate, one of the Sparkies I work with has had 2 of them for over a couple of years he said & are still going strong but he has the older shape versions with the lines going down the sides so maybe they were better built than the new copies or maybe he just got lucky with his copies :D

I work with a spark and his 4.5Ah makita knock off is a beast. He says he's had it for a long time with no problems. Sure it mzy look a bit ugly to some and be slightly more cumbersome but it works well and goes longer between charges.
