Actually, I did have one of these!

The big box sat in the boot, the handset on the dash, and when I was using it passing motorists made a friendly up and down gesture with their hands! It was very versatile, I used to take it on my boat, where I had installed an extra wiring loom, and it worked very well...until the day I realised that analogue was dead...LOL!
£3.80 a minute to make calls, iirc...

Moving away from Apple is a lot easier with the Mi user interface. Best purchase I have made recently is buying a Xiaomi phone, ridiculous value for money and I find the miui so intuitive. They have a seperate section so if you want to be controlled by google wanting to do this and that, then you just click on the icon.
Chinese phones offer better value than UK phones, but should you buy one? - https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/test-centre/mobile-phone/best-chinese-phones-3616945/.
Going to be buying the Poco f1 as soon as the global edition is more available

I meant sideways........... the antenna can "tickle" your prostrate.......

Its Apple, price reductions lol............ There is more chance of getting a discount from a plumber.......

I see the iPhone 8 has been reduced to £599 on the Apple site, £100 reduction since my op, and to £599 at Argos, £40 reduction. :)
