I’m doing away with the off peak supply to an all electric flat and going with ‘eco’ heaters that will be off the standard tariff. I’m looking for advice with regards to replacing the water heater control? I’ve attached a possible suitable replacement I think…. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Unless you use a separate contactor you can't control an immersion through that as the switch contacts are only rated at 2A.

Hi,

I had my THTC dual meter removed back in June SSE no longer reconnect your heating or hot water wiring into your single meter, so I'm waiting on an electrician to come and do it.

I'm looking for something similar, trying to get the electrician to come and replace the THTC water heater controller/booster with a digital water heater timer.

I sent him a link as a suggestion, but he said that the one I suggested wasn't suitable, it would be better being unfused.

I'm not very clued up with stuff like that, can anyone suggest one?
