his hair .LoL.As above what other tests have you carried out
With no Ns connected wont you have an imbalance in the circuit?ok so got continuity not shorts insulation resistance low but not too low at 16meg and again all I have connected or two lives of the ring no neutrals for any circuit no earths for any circuit. RCD stays on until I turn the breaker on. Never come across a fault like it
For some reason the OP seems to be saying no Ns connected. If this is a dual rcd board and I know this is obvious but are the neutrals definitely in the correct neutral bar.

I'm a bit confused myself on this one. Don't understand the situation. For some reason the OP seems to be saying no Ns connected.
Why would you energise without cpcs connected (let alone neutrals)?ok so got continuity not shorts insulation resistance low but not too low at 16meg and again all I have connected or two lives of the ring no neutrals for any circuit no earths for any circuit. Mentioned something similar in post 13.why have you disconnected the neutrals? RCD's compare the current between line and neutral so if you do not have the neutrals connected the RCD will not reset???

Through an earth path.
Stop repeating yourself, sign of old age.As the OP has disconnected the CPC and neutrals and the RCD is still tripping then logically there is a fault to earth on the line conductor.
This could either be a direct wiring fault such as damage insulation allowing contact with a back-box. Also reversed polarity on an appliance could cause the trip.

A bit drastic don't you think.Could still be a neutral to earth fault......his cct neutral would have been at line potential as he had it disconnected from supply neutral lol.
Due to no reponses.......I imagine he has thrown the RCD'S in the bin, took the money and wheelspan off the driveway into the sunset!!!
Two chances Slim and NonePossibly lol. Would be interesting to know what happened in the end
Might need to change your business name
