Recently moved into a house from the 70s. There's no ceiling light in the living room. Assuming the switch for the room was to one of the outlets for a lamp. After testing to find which outlet it was, to my surprise, it was all of the outlets in the room. Yes, One switch turns ON/OFF every outlet in my living room. All the outlets have 2 live, 2 neutral, 1 ground. The light switch has 2 wires going to it and the ground running from the romex directly out of the receptacle box. How do I have the outlets run continuously?

The best and easiest way to do it would be turn off the power and take the light switch out and splice the 2 wires on the switch together. Your switch will no longer work and the receptacles will have constant power. Please be careful and make sure the power is off.
