We have old dimplex storage heaters which need replacing. We don’t use E7 so want to replace with modern electric radiators. One large room (20m2), two medium (15m2) and one hallway. The range and types are baffling. Can anyone either recommend a type/manufacturer or a source of reliable independent advice?
Thank you.

Yes, no gas, and impractical to extend the house oil/biomass. We longer have a dual tariff. The existing heaters need replacement pcbs which will be a substantial part of the cost of new heaters. The heaters are in a holiday cottage and the guests commonly mess around with the controls to try to get instant heat. For all these reasons I want to replace them.

I'd probably just stick some dimplex q-rads in. Decent balance of smartness, price, speed of heat, and cosmetics

Dont get drawn in to the ceramic, german, super efficient, oil filled, NASA tech bull crap. Avoid over priced companies like Fischer future heat and the like.

Thanks for that recommendation, exactly what I was looking for. It was all the fancy stuff you mention that made me suspicious and prompted the initial question.
