Aico Ei405TY - 10year plus wireless interconnecting. Battery outlasts life of unit rendering the requirement for mains a moot one. Not cheap - getting on for a ton.

Would bring grade down to F, but its worth putting forward I have had these accepted on a listed house, because of decor...and all lighting cable had been run in the old gas pipes.
They also link into the mains radio bases.
