I know there are an abundance of wiring schematic examples going around at the moment but do they not need to be specific to the job? i.e a drawing that has the customers details, address, system size and so on. Also drawn to represent the system installed, i.e the locations of equipment relative to the building?

Selby Design offer a full 'job specific' design package for solar pv installers in accordance with MCS. This includes an A3 drawing consisting of a site plan of the address, a plan of the roof area in question and a projected view showing the true roof space available with the proposed panel layout and fixing method. Also included is a 'job specific' A3 electrical schematic that can be provided as part of the O&M and laminated and put up beside the inverter. All drawings branded in your company logo etc and providing a much more professional design service/package to your customer.

With tough times for solar pv and tough competition, it's these edges that are going to make the better businesses stand out among the crowd and get higher numbers of recommendations. One client of mine works purely on leads that are through recommendation with no need for purchased leads.

Unfortunately the DNO's I deal with require the cutout fuse to be defined and also we need to put text on our schematics to explain the operation.
There doesn't appear to be an option for three phase G59 relays to be shown?

Thank you for noticing that sptrotter67 - I will ask to get the cutout fuse and G59 relays added to the editor. So far installers have mostly been using Easy-PV for domestic sized systems. But it works fine for commercial ones.

Hi folks change of thread a little sorry . Doing some pv work next week again . Its been a while and i have never installed micro inverter systems before , would someone be kind enough to show me a line diagram of components in relative order as i am not sure about the meter position . normally on string inverter install i would go panel , dc iso , inverter , ac 1 iso , meter , garage unit with rcd and then AC2 iso back to either spare in CU or henley block back to supply . Please advise if micro set up is different apart from the string inverter and the DC isololators which i know wont be there . Cheers buddies Jeffmo

My memory says that the AC cable going into the customers cu is on the load side of an mcb .... correct . If into henley split does the split incorporate dno meter befor supply . I just cant remember and its doin my head in
