can you get fire retardant swa cleats?

for installing swa in a escape route that doesn't have a false ceiling etc

or would it just have to go on tray with metal ties?

metal tray with metal ties will look professional , but as a stummish said , You can find a cheap solution...

btw iv seen one time a SWA clipped by...hospitality saddles :

that was look funny but ...spot on :)
 
Would you be able to use P clips? Simple and cheap, but effective.
If you got the right size then you might even be able to fit one inside a cleat to make it look the same as all the other fixings, but I have not tried that and think they are the wrong shape to do it.
*I must stop thinking now.
