It's sad but I'm quite excited that I've just treated myself to a Bosch multicutter. It's on special today at screwfix with £20 off. Still £80 but hope it's worth it. Anyone got one already and is it any good.

i have a fein multimaster 110V, a 240V workzone from aldi (£30), and a cordless aldi one ( £40, but on clearance for £20). both the latter ones have 3 year warranties.

I've been looking at these adter using a joiners on site. Not sure if i should go for the battery or 110. The joiner had a 10.9v erbauer, the batteries didnt last too long but it was well used. Any thoughts? Had a look at the one on offer in screwfix seems ok

Bought a Dewalt multi tool about 11 months ago it's good machine I like the variable speed on the trigger the only downside is the LED light has failed twice on the first occasion it was a straight swap as it was within 30 days of purchase the last time it went back to Dewalt while I was on holiday so I didn't have any downtime although the LED is useful if it wasn't there I don't think I'd miss it

Is it the blue professional model or the green diy model

i have had both, the green one is pants, i now have the GOP 300w with quick blade release and very pleased with it, i had a fein in the early days too and can say the bosch is easily equivalent to the fein

i really like bosch nowadays

i strongly recommend the rough/coarse cut blades for floor boards, such a vital tool, how did i get on without one??

I have got this one the GOP 250 CE Professional, its an exceptional bit of kit, very pleased with it.

I got the bare unit as already have batteries.

got that circular saw too!, great bit of kit!

being a bit of a dinosaur, i still swear by my makita 110V circular saw. 1200watts, 2" deep cut. flies through floorboards, joists, water and gas pipes, cables. you name it, it's cut 'em.

You know it's going to be a bad day when you hear that hiss
