My in laws currently have a v box but want to record stuff so I bought a Samsung v+ hd box for them but when I plugged it all in it says I need to pair them. When I rang virgin they said they can't pair them because the box is registered to a different customer. I was wondering if it is possible to get in touch with the previous owner and ask him to ring them and move it over or is there an easier way to do it? I have the paired card from the previous owner but it has expired of that helps?

Cheers

You cant just do that

Virgin charge extra for V+

Funny thing is you actually get the V+ box for free

You have been ripped, oh and the previous owner has broken the law as the box/equipment remains property of Virgin Media, so in effect wasnt his to sell !
