volex rcbo

Hi lads,

I am putting a shower circuit in a house but the cu is an all mcb volex one. I want to put in an rcbo for the shower. I'm not used to dealing with volex. Will a volex rcbo fit any volex cu or is there different types? If there is what do I need to look for, i.e serial number etc.

Wylex, Volex, Crabtree and Newlec consumer unit are from the same (less than super) quality family

So a volex rcbo will have the same fixings etc. And should fit in the volex cu.

Yes cos its a volex. Not changed the design of their CU or DIN rail size position. Might even have some 40 amp Wylex ones lying about for sale
