Discuss Which brand of switch/socket should I change to? in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net
Who are you? ?Click mode for me as well. Generally because of the versatility of being able to change modules in the switches.

The new MK BASE ( basic I think ) is a good bet it is their new cheaper range but still has the MK QUALITY. Has push fit connections, only seen positive reviewsI have used Crabtree for years. It's still ok, but I just don't like their sockets, as they stick out quite a bit compared to say MK or even the Lap ones.
Which brand is good to use? I do like the look of MK, but it's a bit expensive. I tend to buy in bulk and keep it in stock.
Hager is /was my first choice , but the trouble up here is that around the wholesalers there is only one that stocks them, so most of the jobbing sparks end up it the big sheds and buy what they can get.Who are you? ?
Cheers all, reckon I'll give click a go. I checked out a few older threads and it was pretty much identical suggestions. 80% click, 15% Hagar and 5% other.
They were great sockets, back when MK were the best with real quality. But the backbox would have to be installed dead level, imagine how that would turn out on the average new build estate now. ?I have a good stock of these, but having difficulty sourcing the back boxes...
