Yes the valve does not open until you draw out hot water.
Im23 got a little bit experience.
Checked the stat temperature and set at 60degrees
Done a continuity test on the cylinder stat
Got it
Use 2 like i did to start with
what happens is even tho you call for heat the valve will not shut until the cylinder loses hot water and starts filling up with cold
Duhhhhhh me silly
Hi guys
Megaflow cylinder
The connections on it are 1 2 3
In the book for an s plan you use 1 and 2 as your cylinder stat
When you turn the programmer on the zone valve is not working and firing the boiler up.
If you open valve manually it works
Now i thought faulty cylinder stat so i...
Hi
In the process of starting on my own
Im in scotland
As like all of yous on starting up you are not a member of a scheme like select until you get some money behind you.
My idea is build up some work then join one.
However i know when doing work for a local builder in fife you can...
Firsg time ive connected one of these
System will be an s plan
If uve done one, do you not thinks its a bad design with the immersion and the stat being in the same casing on the cylinder. Only reason, for safe isolation to work on one you need to isolate both.
So when clock set to heating goes through the thermostat onto brown of zone valve and the grey of both zone valves upto ta1
And when set to hot water through cylinder stat onto brown of motor and both oranges upto other side of ta1
Does that sound about right?
According to ariston i can use 230v timeclock and stat. And make the switch wire of my room stat go onto brown of valve (the motor) and use the grey and orange wire on zone valves (micro switch) as volt free switching
Yeah its to be a low voltage stat but according to ariston i could use a honeywell st9400s twin channel clock and a t6360B stat however these dont switch low voltage?
