What do you put for the over current device on a minor works if its spured from RFC. Lighting for bathroom in extension.Is it the breaker for RFC or the 1362 in spur. All RCD protected.

I'm repacing a free standing cooker with a ceramic hob and separate oven. I already have a control switch and 1 oulet box. Is it good practice to have 2 separate outlet boxes, separately spurred from the switch, or wired in series? Or can i connect the two appliances from the same outlet box...

I need to create a fused spur with the connection into the RFC cable under the floorboards i.e. not accessible. Going with the regs crimps can be used as they are MF but is it acceptable to have three cables in each crimp?

Hi guys. Called in to change a cooker switch for a customer this aft, its just old and tired. When inside it, i found a spur off the terminals, which i traced to a single SO (no SO on cooker switch). The SO is for the microwave. Customer has no probs with fuse blowing.

When testing R1 + R2 on a three phase circuit, do you connect each phase in turn to earth and test at other end? Record the highest value? Similar to what you test Zs on 3 phase but without the connecting?
