    Fixing lugs

    When I was doing my apprenticeship we used to use little clip on metal lugs that clipped on the outside of a 35mm backbox to prevent the box pulling out when side fixing. They were made by MK but I can't remember the part no. or find them anywhere. Can anyone remember the part no. of these?

    Plastic lugs on switch back boxes...

    Morning comrades. Is one obliged to change above back boxes for metal lugged versions. Obviously the plate screws won't be earthed but are insulated by plastic lugs. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance.

    Use of crimped lugs and bonding to boilers

    Can you use crimp lugs (ring or fork type yellow tipped ) on the earth cable when bonding main incoming water and gas pipes. I assume this is ok. Also with respect to combi boilers. Do you still have to bond the main pipes under boiler in 4mm or is that now not required due to the dual RCD...
