    RCD Not tripping when in contact with live conductor

    Hi All Please correct me if I'm wrong I was thought that an RCD should trip when you come In contact with a live conductor. Now I have had 2 electric shocks in the last 3 months and on both occasions and the RCD did not trip.The RCD was tested and passed. Any ideas ?

    16a cooker switch

    A friend is installing a new cooker which has a rating of 16a. The old one was off a 13a fused switch wired on the kitchen ring as it was only rated at 10a. Can a 20a double pole switch be fitted in its place?

    Brake problem on combi drill

    Now i always thought a combi drill could be used for wood and masonry. I have a mains sds for chasing and big masonry work but Time and time again i use my combi to drill 6mm and 7mm holes for wallplugs.
