has anyone used one of the many downloadable training courses if so what was the best?
and i know maybe a silly question but in the exam can you take the regs book and on site guide in??

Yep I did, revised at home for a week then sat the exam only (£60 I think) however because i never did the course i had to sit the full exam not the upgrade.
Not sure if I still have the training guide ill have a look

electracourse training guide, and exam simulator.

I think what you are hoping to do is a downloadable course and then just turn up on exam day and take the test. I dont know of anyone that will allow you to do that give city and guilds a ring they might know of somewhere you can take the exam only.

As for downloadable courses the best one you can get is the exam simulator from ElectaCourse Home Study and Distance Learning Courses and Revision and Exam Aids just get the exam simulator not the course you dont need it. The simulator gives you all you need and you can print out your answers to see where you went wrong.

Hope that helps
