whats the difference between these two books? im about to do my 17th edition in august and need to buy one

I hope to be almost retired by then, So what I was thinking after my next assesment(August) if I only do jobs on installs I have done I could just work to the green regs, right? :)

? yellow doesn't come into enforcement on jobs till after july.

all you need mate is get enough work prior and design it etc before then :)
 
I'm glad I didn't bother wasting my money on the green book. I managed to get through my 2391 using the red book just after the changeover, and I doubt I'll be buying the yellow book unless I really have to.

Have you done any other courses? someone at college would surely have been told by their tutor the difference, unless your not training of course, if thats the case why take a multi choice exam for no reason???
