Received unsolicited email from Nationwide Homeserve Ltd after contractors to work on numerous rental properties in my area. (Obviously a targeted emai).
As before phone links back to Glasgow. Company incorporated in March this year with copyright on website dated 2014. Steer clear as this stinks of fraud as per previous threads.

Why can you not just put the information online to the forum? If it's truthful and legal, there can't be any lash back.

Also, just seems suspicious to me putting mobile numbers directly to the site.

Give me a call pall and i will tell you

People’s involvement with this company and previous guises may vary slightly from individual to individual. It would not be appropriate to post the exact details of each incident on a public forum especially if criminal proceedings result. A coordinated approach via Action Fraud may get a better response from LEA’s which should be the aim of this. Even for those with historic involvement. If folks want to chew things over keep it private.

@PlumberB , if you have information on this company, that is readily available on the internet then why not just put the link up to it.. and maybe a screen shot.

just for spoon: 4 +1/4 tons of cheesecake:

then again, as he said, his no. is freely available on tinternet. mine is not, but i still get spam calls.

Hi
My company got court by these to, promising us a contract in our post code area, we got scammed and they took money from us, after we signed the contract we didn’t hear from them and I just knew something wasn’t right, their emails didn’t work or there numbers. We was also given fake appointments with estate agents and when I rang then to confirm this they didn’t have a clue what was going on. I contacted the police straight away and the fraud team have got involved and they are investigating it. I was able to get the money back as the bank traced the bank account the money went into. I’m still waiting to here what’s happening with the investigation. If this has happened to anyone please report it straight away.

Funny that as i rang fraud department and gave statements atnpolice station and called scotland police and Gloucestershire police and they were NOT intrested.
They are all a waste of time.
No one has got back to me or do e anythig. Total joke.

Iv had about 20 companies call me in relation to this fraud so there must be heaps more thatn that who have been victims

With all the fraud that's going on these days the police haven't git the resources to deal with every one unfortunately.

The Times appear to have got their teeth into Action Fraud and their lack of action. Out of interest, what police force say they are investigating?

Gloucester police were contacted by myself 3 times and given a FULL written statement.
Scotland police were called 2/3 times but was told they could do nothing about it as i am a victim outside of thier area.
Gloucester police eventually called me back after 3 days and told me they couldn't do anything about it.

Filled report with action fraud who have still not responded to this day and if you call action fraud who seam to be useless at gathering and organising the information they are given correctly... they tell you they can not do anything as thier sole job is to collect and file the information for review and they have nothing else to do with what happens. The police anylise the data and then decide weather or not to take action.
These guys have been doing this since before 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <<<<<<--------- ‍♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️
HELLLLOOOOO POLICE ANY DANGER OF YANOOO TAKING A LOOK AT THIS....‍♂️♂️♂️

Usually Home Office Counting rules dictate that the force where the suspects live will be the investigating force. Certainly if the suspects are in Scotland then Scotland should take the lead. Also makes sense when you have victims nationwide. This is Action Frauds job!!! They should be collating the reports and passing to the appropriate investigating force.

Action Fraud has been on the radio recently. They are employed by the police to receive calls from the public about fraud. They only investigate an incredibly small amount of the calls they get and actively try and put off the victim from taking things further.
They really do sound like an appalling organisation.

Not wanting to split hairs. They are a private company contracted by the Home Office and linked to City of London Police who run the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB). They don’t carry out any prosecutions. They should analyse fraud reports and where frauds are identified pass out to the relevant law enforcement agency to investigate. Police Forces love it as fraud reports don’t impact on their crime figures. Problem is most regional police forces only have a handful of fraud investigators. City of London and MPS are overwhelmed with major frauds and as a result some regional forces have taken on jobs that should have been investigated elsewhere. As a result you have instances of one officer investigating several major frauds on their own each in effect a major investigation quite often more complex than a murder which would automatically have a large team allocated. This in turn leads to investigations sometimes taking several years to reach conviction. Gets even more ingesting when you seize a suspects computer and have to review hundreds of thousands of files looking for evidence but also to assess whether or not there is material that assists the defence.

Because it was a bank transfer the bank will claim off the bank it was transferred to and the fraud team in the bank will get involved to, all I know is that they traced it to a Santander account in merseyside, they have also been trying to use my engineers ids trying to sell them on to estate agents

I’m still waiting to hear off them, it is horrible that people do this to people, all I know is they have to build up a case on them so if more people report them and send over the emails and numbers then hopefully they will get court well we can only hope,
