got a call from a landlord the sockets werent working , so popped round . i thought the tenant might of pretended to be the land lord in the call similar voice. old wiring in the sockets could be the problem , but it was everything else that made me ask what has happened there.
1 electric range cooker on a 20A mcb inspect cooker switch 2.5 t and e . she said electrician installed and signed off. but said dont use everything on the cooker at once
2 no sleeve on cpc sockets
3 no access to cutout , kitchen fitters had hidden it
4 no earths on lights, understandable as old wiring but electricians had been removed all pendants put up metal wall lights , even if they were class 2 they hadnt put the circuit on an RCD
5 no smokes
realising i didint go round for an EICR and if i did it would fail ,tho i was intrigued what the inside of the consumer unit was like and how the old lighting had been connected to flex just below wallpaper and not running in prescibed zone , i left
 
Those range cookers most of the time go on a 13a plug top as they are large and under powered, why people buy them I don't know, they should just get a proper oven.

20A racial for it sounds fine imho

The full electric range classic 110 induction has a total load of 16Kw. They still work fine on the old 32A 6mm with diversity applied blah blah. I wouldn't like to say if it would hold on a 20A come Xmas though...
