A very informative post there aidindog..... you wouldn't have any affiliations with the said company would you.....

Mods: Why can't we have a sarcastic font...

As an all round drill I would say it's far too underpowered for all day general use for the average electrician. But then again, what's the average electrician and what does he need from a drill ? That's very open ended.
A good little tool nonetheless, and I think it's cute that they put a hammer function on it.

I really like the M12 range its endless specially when I can charge my phone with the same battery I use for Drill or other m12.

I've got m12 gear to supplement my 18v .

The drill only drilled a hand full of holes and died , just got It back today hope it lasts , I'm pleased with the hackzall , jigsaw and multitool mind ( very impressed with those three) . + 3 x 3ah batts all for 300 nicker!

M12 gear or that kind of stuff has its uses I think .gets in tighter spots lighter to carry great for putting things together panels, flat packs, kitchens

And it gave me new toys to play with !

You nailed it ,there is use for them not all the time and you have choice if you don't feel like carrying you 18volt stuff and most importantly I have excuses for playing with more tools [emoji56][emoji56][emoji56]

Still got a pump action yankee for screws I still use occasionally...

They are bloody awful things, I only say that because I once trapped the skin of my hand in one, and anybody who as ever done the same would agree it stings a bit.
But yes they are a good driver if used properly.

Now that is a blast from the past! do you keep all your bits for it in a metal tobacco tin? (preferably golden virginia)

I just use it with a Pozi bit in it all the time , find its good when fixing trunking up , as you can drill when on steps and then keep the yankee in a long side pocket , I still have got some rawlplug jumpers knocking around I used to use with a lump hammer from the 70s along with the brace and bit for joists , still got some off the old tapered bits around somewhere....
