Hi

I've been looking to up grade my tool box and was told the best screwdrivers to get for electrical work were Klein - but then someone told me Irazola - then someone else said Tescos own (alright no - nobody said this but they did say why pay x amount on something which you may lose?)

This has probably been asked in the past but would still like to know thanks and any other best ofs tools thanks :D

From reading American forums, Klein have dropped in their quality in recent years, so I would avoid them.
You cant really go wrong with any of the major electrical brands such as:
Irazola, CK, Wera, Bacho, Facom and the like.
Best to grab hold of a few and see which suits your hand the best :)

Don't think there is any one brand of tools that is the best.
All depends on the users preference.
I've currently got in the toolbox, Knipex, Stanley Fatmax and wera drivers and all suit me fine.

I used to swear by Draper expert (bought as wickes) but gave the Wera ones a go. Seem to need less effort which could be the fatter central part of the handle or my imagination. So pleased that I might give the one handle/ multi tip set featured in prof elect. recently a go

have CK, Wera, Bacho, stanley fatmax, draper exp all work fine oh and for the bronx sort of places have a set of chocolate ones with rounded off heads that double up as a weapon !

I'd go for Irazolla every time. Very comfortable and grippy. For something you're using all the time, it's worth paying a bit more and getting decent quality IMHO

Don't mind me while I bump some old threads. Just doing the rounds. Ignore the thread if it's not current topic, it'll soon drop off the list, but if the thread interests you, feel free to reply. :)
