@ OP. if still here. if you don't want to be getting the tester out, just clout the valves, pump, and the boiler pipes with a hammer. Pi$$ in the header tank, then charge £250. ( oh, sorry, your a sparks, not a PLUMBER )

Water and electricity don't mix.
Find where uncontained water is near to electrical connections on the boiler circuit and you'll find the problem.

It'll be a small leak hence the time delay.

Think you need the old classic "that's a particular trate of this model" it's a well known problem in the industry and actual everything is fine.

Had a similar problem some years ago. Turned out to be a length of expanding and contracting pipe crushing a cable against a wall under the floor boards.
