Photo-0004.jpgEvenin all. Just thought you might like to see the result of a cannabis growers efforts to bypass the meter with the 16mm main earthing conductor he took from the MET. The bypas had been done straight to the busbar with 3 MCBs on it feeding radials for the sockets and kitchen which turned out to be the wrong size anyway (32A) for the 2.5mm cable employed. Clearly the earthing cable had just been "jammed in" with the resultant overheating seen here. The dis-board was in the cellar which had a timber roof (joists and floorboards).....:6:
 
wylex recall? nope, that was the 6A and 10A, so i believe.
