Hi. I've had an electrician come in to set up sockets and lights in my loft conversion.
2 switches for the main light (one at the bottom of the stairs and one at the top) 2 bed lights with their own built in switches and some plug sockets.

The plug sockets are finished and working fine.

I'm thinking the final touches on the light wiring will be simple apart from the top of the stairs light switch, which has 2 additional wires that I'm not sure what they are for.
Can anyone shed some light on them?
Thanks in advance xScreenshot_20230411_220646_Gallery.jpg

You have two twin and earth cables - one will be the mains supply (with the wago's on?), the other the cable to the lamp, and you also have one triple core (and earth) cable, which is needed for two way switching, which will go to the switch at the bottom of the stairs!

I would add that since one of the twin & earth cables is terminated in Wago connectors, this would suggest to me that it is perhaps already live (and if so, the terminations should be enclosed e.g. in a Wago box).
