I'm new here so please be kind...

If a system is changed after the MCS certificate has been issued is a certificate update required? For example, 2 years down the road and a panel is damaged or an inverter fails and the original item is obsolete and no longer available so a substitute is made. What happens to the validity of the certificate? If a change is required can any accredited installer make the change or only the original company?

TIA...
