I want to get a CT clamp signal across a concrete yard. I cannot have an overhead cable, and going underground will be very expensive. Both ends will be in range of a good WiFi signal, both on the same outdoor access point. How can this be done ?

What is The ct clamp for?
I would be thinking of a cheep plc to evaluate the current and send via network either to another plc to converting it into a pulse train or an analogue signal.

It would be for sensing a single phase supply to connect into a solar power inverter to enable it to limit generation onto the grid. I guess the DNO might have an interest in its resilience/reliability.
