DIYer needing advice please

Hi all. we have a bedside lamp with takes three small edisson screw bulbs. It is dimmable rather than just on-off, via a rotary in-line switch.
My problem is, unless it's on full power, there is a terrible buzzing, coming NOT from the switch, but it seems to be coming from the main body of the lamp, where the three bulbs screw in. They are definitely dimmable bulbs - they don't flicker at all. Any ideas please?

Thanks guys

I'm assuming the lamps are LED.
Some LED dimmable lamps do buzz when dimmed, sometimes depending on the type of dimmer (leading edge, trailing edge, etc). Is the dimmer fitted actually compatible with LED lamps, or was it designed for tungsten/halogen lamps? I'm guessing the dimmer doesn't allow the dimming mode to be changed (some modules do, likely not for this one). Assuming the dimmer is LED compatible, perhaps try some different lamps.
