Hi i have a karaoke dj mixer and the switch that you change the power from 100w 300w 500w is faulty? The sound is fine out of the left channel on all 3 settings but on the right channel when you move it from 100w to 300w you loose 90 per cent volume and if you wiggle it a bit it comes back on same if you move to 500 watt it sometimes works first time but if you move the switch a bit it crackles and comes back on,but its only the right channel it does it on, can anyone give me an idea what they think it is thank you.

Try Switch cleaner, not wd40 proper switch cleaner, probably carbon deposits. Switch unit of spray and switch backwards and forwards a number of times, leave for the cleaner to evaporate 5 mins should do.

it could also be a slack push on connector on the switch. that would require accessing the back of the switch, obviously with the unit unplugged.

i know what i'd like to do with all DJ amps, but i'd get barred off the forum for saying it

If you ever find out why the thing is quieter than you'd like it to be, please let us know.

I'd like to introduce the same fault on a few more of them!!! ;)
