And I imagine you'd have to drill a 20mm hole right through to accommodate conduit, a bit OTT for 18 inches of 2.5mm cable, and generally you'd bash out a rear knockout in the existing inside socket back box so it's easier to use a smaller diameter masonry bit and avoid messing up the backbox. Always go slightly downhill from inside to out too and try to drill the very last bit without hammer action to avoid a huge lump of masonry falling off on the outside.

I am referring to the specific job in the OP, putting an accessory off the back of another through a wall, using T&E. Can't see the sense of making a 20mm hole for what might be a bit of 1.5, and certainly can't see how the additional time is justified. If its singles or maybe SWA then yes, but not for T&E.

When inspected, got to admit never seen the point if it, perhaps from now on will be using a smaller drill and just pushing it through! Sometimes you just do things as that's how you were taught!

Ozzy is good fun on the shows he does/ The Osbournes and Ozzy and Jacks Detour.
However I don't think he can sing for Toffee and is totally overrated as a singer, I think he has stretched an elastic band to the moon and back in terms of the wealth, he has achieved as a Singer.
And just going back to the shows etc I think he is a lot cleverer than he is portrayed. I must admit though that Jack as grown on me over the years and enjoyed the extreme programs he did.
