Discuss Earth fault loop impedance in the Periodic Inspection Reporting & Certification area at ElectriciansForums.net

:) thanks

so working with the tabulated values I'm given in my material would the formula I posted be the right way to go about it?

I am of the opinion that the course material is out of date as the Cmin factor of 0.95 is already worked into the new maximum values.
The question is simply asking for you to apply the temperature correction factor to the maximum values and compare those values with the given measured values and state whether compliant or not.

You could point out in your answer that the Cmin factor of 0.95 should be applied if you would like to illustrate you have been given out of date material.

Yes I would like to do that :)

Can someone explain this to me? The regs book calls Zs 'Earth Fault Loop Impedence' and the On-Site Guide calls Ze 'Earth Fault Loop Impedence'.
