Discuss Fairly making money by sub-contracting - New Business Startup in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

One man's negativity is another man's realism.
of course :)
Just saying use the time honoured models to sort/filter the wheat from the chaff.
then if it's a goer kep it under your hat :icon7:

Problem with these business models is they can be replicated for tuppence by peeps who can put millions behind it.

You can't polish a turd into a diamond, but you can cover it in glitter and try to convince people it has value. It remains however, a turd covered in glitter.
True - point I'm making is this paticular idea didn't stand up to scrutiny, so what ?
OP, Come up with another idea, Robert the Bruce fashion !
Not going to join in being Neg, potentially demoralising the OP, cos that's not how I roll :smoking:

OP (Puffy) Keep persevering mate, I like your thinking. An important part of the formal business creative process relies on having ideas. putting them forward. Then testing/ adpating them.

Few analytical models I would use are S.W.O.T and P.E.S.T not taking the mick, google those terms under business analysis. If your're not already familiar - Good luck

Thanks. Thanks to this thread I'm more interested in other solutions but until I'm a member to advertise, I'll tell you what else I have. I'll Google those terms.

I suspect having a "black list" website could be difficult to create and keep legal.Maybe just the ability to mark on a road!
Why doesn't this forum just have one. Just call it something like "troublesome customers". It can be like are Arms selection where you have to apply to view the threads in the section. You can put the full address & post code in the subject heading so it's easier to search. Where is it illegal to whinge about customers. You are not outright telling anyone to boycott them... just to be weary...
