So tomorrow I have managed to find work as a mate installing conduit and cable trays. This is my first time other than collage working as a mate and I am nervous as I have never installed conduit on big buildings any advice would be helpful also I was told to take basic hand tools any advice on this as well.

Listen and take note of what the bloke in charge says.

basic hand tools would be a set of screwdrivers, cable snips, pliers, grips, and for conduit/tray etc, a set of metric spanners 10mm - 17mm. tray is a doddle.conduit bending is a black art that you only learn with practice and a skip full of scrap failures.

Ask for a threading machine. A day of 20mm conduit threads with old tap and die and you got Popeyes arms
Not going to happen LS, O[ should be prepared to work hard, don't worry about being a Dogs body, the more you whinge the less you will be thought of, stay cool and focused you will become a respected member of the team I'm sure, dig in and soak it up, and learn how to brew a decent cuppa, good luk and well done for securing a Mates job.
