Guys,

Just installing first fix wiring in a new extension, had a sparky come out and guide me through it, just wanted to check something before the plaster board goes on, I have two double sockets on the same wall about 2 meters apart, I have come down the walls from the ceiling void to each socket, but have come across horizontal between the two, is that okay, sparky says alright just wanted to confirm before it gets covered up.

Cheers

So a sparky helped you and you don't trust him?

What have you done about RCD protection?

Cheers Lee for that diagram.
Murdoch, just wanted to make sure what he said was right hence the post, before it gets plasterboarded, no harm in second opinions, as for RCD this will be an extension onto an existing ring which is already protected by RCD.
