Discuss freecurve stair lift changed battery but not working in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

stair lift was off its charging section at top of stairlift track for some time rarly used. and upon checking batteries were dead. could not move back to charging section.
put in two new batteries
then with buttons managed to get it up to top of track, however it went s little too far and lowered itsself towards the ground and we cannot get it to move or adjust since!!

looked online and cannot find anything.
service engineer wanted two hundred for changing batteries as its out of warranty. so no clue what will look for if need to do anything now!

any suggestions welcomed

Sounds like some limits need changing maybe? Hopefully somebody on here kmows what needs doing.
