Hello,
I'm brand new to the forum but looking for direction on how to wire my off grid cabin in Alaska. I recently finished the hard part of wiring the cabin to the main box but do not have any power coming into the main currently. My plan is to use a generator only for the next 12 months but then next summer add the ECO-Worthy 1400W Wind Solar Power system.
My question is what is needed from a material aspect to run the power from the generator into the main for now and then next year add the Solar, with the intention of continuing to use the generator only in back up situations.
I can make myself available to talk via phone or continue through the forum, whichever is easier for ya'll.
Thank you

You would be better off if you bought some 8/3 with a ground romex. You will also need a male 30 amp 240vac 4 wire twist lock plug. Install a 40 amp Double pole breaker in you temporary panel and that’s where the other end of the wires go
