Thought i would join this forum as it looks very helpful. Trying to get any advice on getting offshore as it is torture!

Welcome to the forum, hope you have luck in getting offshore, not an easy task by all accounts.

You could try reading this thread but keep an eye on the dates of posting as some of it is quite old.
